  3. Preparing Syrup: In a separate pan, prepare a sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water until it reaches a one-thread consistency.
  4. Combining and Cooking: Gently add the boiled bael pieces to the hot sugar syrup. Cook over a low flame for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit pieces absorb the syrup and turn a slightly darker color.
  5. Finishing Touches: Allow the murabba to cool completely. Optional additions like cardamom powder or kewda essence can be mixed in at this stage.
  6. Storage: Store the finished murabba in a clean, dry, airtight glass jar. It can be stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator for several months.
